Launched in Forest Green, Midnight Grey, and Polar White colour variants, and alongside the Mi note 10 lite recently, the Redmi note 9 makes another addition to the Note 9 series comprising the note 9s, Pro and Pro Max.

Making it’s debut to the Redmi Note 9 is the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which according to the company, is made for everyday gamers and will give users incredible visual quality and smoother video experience while using less. The processor boasts an Octa-core 2.0 CPU with a Mali-G52, and the device itself runs on Android 10: MIUI 11 with similar battery rating to the note 9 line up which is at 5020mAH but with fast charging at 18W.

With a plastic frame, a rear that has the fingerprint sensor, and gorilla glass 5 protection upfront, note 9 features a punch hole embedded on a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen sizing up to 6.53 inches, at 83.5% screen to body ratio.

In the camera department is an identical quad rear and single selfie setup with the Redmi note 8 as it (note 9) consists of a 48MP wide lens, 8MP ultra wide, 2MP macro with auto focus and another 2MP depth sensor. The front camera houses a 13 MP with HDR and panorama features.
