Redmi’s true wireless earbuds is followed up by a new model which was recently launched in China through a crowd funding campaign. Tagged Redmi Airdots 2, the wireless device is about the same design as the previous Redmi Airdots – it comes in 3 different sizes but in a single black colour variant, and is about as lightweight as any regular buds.
Powered by a 7.2 drivers, the device features a DSP digital noise reduction technology and comes with a Bluetooth connectivity at v5.0. Redmi Airdots 2 has one-key control that can be used to perform multiple tasks such as taking and rejecting calls, controlling your music player, activating voice assistance and more.
The new earbuds is said to provide 4 hours of audio on a single charge and with its charging case which comes with 300mAh battery, you get about 12 hours of battery life. The charging case uses a micro USB for charging and it takes about 2 hours to complete a full charge, while the buds themselves charge fully for about 1.5 hours.
There’s currently no word concerning the international availability of the Redmi Airdots 2, but If you’ve had a sweet experience with Redmi’s previous true wireless earbuds, then upgrading to the newest edition shouldn’t be an issue.
