Xiaomi just launched a handful of devices in India and they include – the MI 10 smartphone, along the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2, and also the Mi Box 4K – an Android TV gadget for streaming video content with voice-assisted remote control. The devices will be on sale on May 12, but for now let’s take a little peek into the specifications.
The Mi 10 is a 6.67 display with gorilla glass 5 protection. It comes with a Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 chipset, 8GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB in built-in storage and a 4780 mAh battery. The phone sports a remarkable rear quad camera setup in this array – 108 MP main camera, 13 MP ultra wide shooter, and two secondary macro and depth sensor shooters. While the selfie segment features a single 20 MP snapper.
The Mi Box 4K is an Android TV-powered streaming device that sports a Snapdragon 865, a 2 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 8 GB storage, runs on AndroidTV 9.0, and supports 4K video at 60fps. The device is integrated with Chromecast & Google Assistant, and a list of preloaded apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney + Hotstar and more. For connectivity, Mi box can be connected using an HDMI cable, it also has a USB port for pen drives, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.2 support to connect with wireless Earphones.
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 looks very similar in design to the Apple Airpods. Xiaomi equipped the Earphones with 14.2 mm drivers, touch controls, and dual microphones for noise cancellation. They also support LHDC, and comes with Bluetooth v5. 0. They offer up to 14 hours of battery life that will up to 4 hours of usage on a single charge. There is no wireless charging but the case can be charged using a USB C cable that fits right into the charging port.
