Sometime in May, Google announced that it will be adding updates to improve security and privacy over user’s data. Today the company rolled out the much anticipated Auto-delete controls for Location History and Web Activities on Android and iOS which will enable smartphone users to easily manage their data on the web.

This feature is however limited, as users will only be able to schedule their web history and activities to be deleted every 3 or 18 months.

So as of today, you can launch the Google app on your phone and set up an auto-delete feature for Google’s Location History and Web & App Activity and have more control over your data.
