The Chinese Media are claiming that Apple intends to launch a cheaper iPhone model exclusively for the Chinese market; the phone is said to come with an Under Display Fingerprint Sensor instead of the Face ID feature.
Now, for the past two years, Apple’s flagship devices have been relying on an advanced authentication method – Face ID, as means for bio-metric verification, and now that report has it that the company has decided to launch a cheaper device with a fingerprint sensor, it however won’t be available globally.
We do not understand the reason for this, but perhaps Apple is trying to cut down on some expenses as we heard they have recently been experiencing a decline in sales.
