Samsung has just launched an affordable, dual sim entry level smartphone – Samsung Galaxy A01 Core – a low variant of the Samsung A01. For those that have been in search of a low budget smartphone from Samsung, here’s a very good option to go for. The device comes with a HD display, 3000mAh battery, single camera and Android Go Edition OS. Unfortunately the device is currently made available only in Indonesia. So unless you reside in the region and what not, otherwise, it would be out of reach.
Samsung Galaxy A01 Core runs on Android (Go Edition). The device features a 5.3-inch HD+ (720×1480 pixels) TFT LCD. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 quad-core SoC, 1 GB RAM coupled with 16/32 GB storage expandable up to 512GB via MicroSD card, and a 3 000mAh battery that will supposedly offer up to 17 hours of 4G talk time, 14 hours of LTE or Wi-Fi Internet usage, 11 hours of video playback, and up to 70 hours of video playback.
As for the camera, the device sports a single 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, auto focus support and digital zoom. And for selfies and video calls, you get a 5MP camera. For connectivity, the Samsung galaxy A01 core features a micro USB port, Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, GLONASS, and more.
For now the device is only available in Indonesia Market in black, blue and red colours.
